YouSpend (“the app”, “we”) is a personal-finance app by Anas Almomany. YouSpend is private by design. This policy explains how your data is handled.
Everything you enter — transactions, wallets, budgets, bills, goals, debts, categories, tags, and notes — is stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, synced privately through your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. The developer cannot access this data and operates no server that receives it.
If you grant permission, YouSpend can attach a place to a transaction so you can see where you spend. Precise location is used only when you add or edit a transaction, is stored with your own data, and is never shared with us or third parties. You can disable it anytime in iOS Settings.
YouSpend may collect limited, aggregated, non-identifying usage and crash diagnostics to improve reliability. This is not linked to your identity and is never sold. YouSpend contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed by Apple via the App Store. We never receive your payment details; purchase validation happens on-device through StoreKit. Premium can be shared with your Family Sharing group.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone.
Your data lives in the app and your iCloud. Delete it anytime in Settings → Data Management, or by removing the app and its iCloud data.
YouSpend is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
